Normal back in 1959: some railfans participating on a Buffalo NRHS chapter fantrip over Canadian Pacific in southern Ontario are treated to an up-close experience of the signs, sounds and smells of steam, seen here riding the tender and cab area of CP D10h 1092 as her and sister 1098 head north out of Orangeville to wye their train at Fraxa Junction. Upon wying, the train will head back down the Owen Sound Sub to Orangeville in preparation for the trip back down the Orangeville Sub to Streetsville Junction. It's hard to pin down the exact location, but the train appears to be approaching Centre Street crossing near the north end of town, with a few trackside onlookers in the distance. Today, even if one was able to find operating steam, they would be hard-pressed to climb aboard a tender for a ride due to the usual legal liabilities.
