Bygone practice: the crew of Canadian National "Northern" 4-8-4 6167 attend to her drivers with grease guns and oil cans, lubricating bearings, rods and moving parts on the steam engine while stopped at Lindsay, Ontario on an excursion run.  According to Branchline magazine, this was the first winter steam excursion operated by the Upper Canada Railway Society, running from Toronto to Lindsay (via Blackwater Jct, on the Uxbridge Sub) on January 28th 1962.   2. Should have been retained, stored serviceable in some roundhouse stall. Same with 6218.
