By Mile 1, meaning one mile from the bridge over the Niagara River and the USA, CP 5916, 5502, CRL 611, SOO 760 and CP 4214 are seen having just passed thru the commercial/tourist district of Clifton Hill. Palmer Av is the street which parallels the tracks. The old trackbed is now a walking trail.

  1. Thanks for sharing this Arnold.

  2. Another nice mid-(19)90′s trainset.
Thesnow looks pretty pristine; was this the morning following a snowfall?

  3. It must have been the morning after just enough snow to make it interesting. I had to work this day, it being a Monday, and checking my notes I had written an entry for #734 but it was in NF, NY already; so drove over to get it. It was hard to pass up a sunny day and 4 trains by 11AM (there was also CSX and another CP in the morning) and be at work in Hambone by 1300. How times have changed; as I keep repeating.
