Great capture Marcus, definitely captured the mood of CN DAIN at the time
Both the Leafs and Sabres faced each other in the Stanley Cup playoffs that year with Buffalo going all the way to the cup final. Unfortunately, they lost to Dallas.
Nice scene Marcus.
Amazing how many yard jobs CN had in niagara…
This might have been 564, the daily turn to Dain City from the Falls.
If NS handled the intermodal out of dain city, what did 564 do going to dain city? Work local customers on the way? Switch the place?
Or was there a dedicated switcher here?
I do have one slide of a CN GP9 sitting beside the NS power here but only saw a CN unit here once. Not sure if CN actually built the NS intermodal trains of if it was just there either on a break like this day in the photo or assigned there.
