While this quiet area might have been farmland, cattle grazing and a large intermodal yard in the middle of nowhere 8 years ago, the winds of change are blowing over this northwestern section of Vaughan: road realignments have been made, sprawling neighbourhoods have gone in just to the north off Major Mackenzie Drive (on both sides of the CP MacTier Sub), and the recently announced future extension of Ontario's Highway 427 will cut right through here just behind the locomotives. It's only a matter of time before the new residents on those former farmer's fields get acquainted with the busy 24-7 railway line that's been here for over 100 years...
