Brake test completed 4401 pulls down to Egerton St. ready to head westward. Some points of interest no longer seen or rarely seen include: "barrel" headlight, white extra flags, ratchet handbrake, oil lanterns on switch stands, stock cars on headend, wood cabooses, footboards on engine, and 2nd unit RS3 3022.
4401's original number was 1725 until 1956, rebuilt to 7041 in 1992 and scrapped in 2013.

  2. Glad you like it Joe. This neg. was hidden away in storage for almost 50 years (and certainly not in archival storage). The original 3×5 drugstore print did not do it any justice. It was not until I scanned and viewed it on a PC that I really began to appreciate its potential.
