BNSF 4017 - FXE 3215 take charge of CN 150...one of two 150's that I shot (and maybe the only two that ran?) You never could tell what might turn up in the 2006 - 2007 FPON era! Quite like the 2013 - current era ;)

  1. I wish I had the digital camera back then! Good stuff.

  2. I got this train at Mile 30, along with a cool military train led by two UP units. Man, 2006-2007 was a good time for FPON, especially on CN.

  3. Very nice – I think I saw that power go back west in the dark. Back in the 2000′s 150 was a once-a-week train from the BNSF at Chicago to BIT… usually ran in the wee-hours Thursday mornings, but it looks like this one was late!

  4. This shot inspires me to dig up my 2006-2007 photos from storage. Unfortunately, none of them are on my computer. Some of the lash-ups back then were very interesting :)

  5. Well thanks! Yeah, 06 – 07 really was a good time…I look forward to seeing some of those shots turn up :)

  6. And I got this one at Bramalea ;) 150 was detouring on the Halton, it didn’t normally run in these parts.
