  1. Nice. Colourful prairie scene.

  2. Killer.

  3. Very nice, Matt.
So where does all the grain end up that Mobil Grain/Last Mountain handles?
Reason I ask – those ol’ *government* cars are getting up there near 50 years of age.

  4. Thanks guys,

Great question Bruce, they are basically portable grain bins to store product until they are ready to load it into CN cars.

This video explains it very well, Its a great idea if I do say so myself.

  5. Matt..So they go from one car..into a bin..back into another car..then onto a ship most likely..then offloaded maybe into another car… seems like a lot of shift of product.
    Great shot btw.

  6. Brad. No, no bin. It’s handled the same amount of times as any product that is stored at an elevator, the MGLX cars are essentially the silos of the elevator. “Mobil” silos if you will.

  7. Sorry, re-read. portable bins. ;) gotcha. Thanks Matt.
