Been awhile since I have posted a "detour" train in Niagara. This USA-bound CP is stopped by the NF VIA station awaiting permission to cross the Niagara River. Engineer Gordie Rivers at the controls in CP 5825, with HATX 514 (leased) and CP 5862 trailing. The reason for the detour over CN Grimsby sub rather than the CP Hamilton Sub, the normal route, was on account re-construction of the Hunter St tunnel in downtown Hamilton was under way.
