Because it was a nice day, while on our way back from an overnighter in Goderich and coming across RLK 4095 with RLHH 2117 with about 14 cars in tow heading up to Clinton Jct., we decided to follow it when we realized it was heading over to the Exeter sub. Much more favourable sun angle.
The view here is at Mill Rd crossing in Brucefield, and the grey building seen between the units in the background is the Millroad trailer manufacturing plant.

  1. Good to see RLK 4095 still on the GEXR. I thought it went off to another G&W operation.

  2. 4095 looks great, after the memorable incident at Goderich. And, also after all these years and of course…I shot this engine back about 2009…parked at Garnet (http://www.railpictures.ca/?attachment_id=22206)

  3. Todd attachment id= not : :) fixed.

Arnold this is a great shot, Brucefield is a tough place to shoot, what looks good, what can we do here, the angle of the buildings and rail line, it’s a tough tough shot, you just made it look easy.

I’ve been here many times and Still not sure if i’m happy with what I have.

  4. Thank you, Sir.
I admit I looked around a bit because there really isn’t much to work with.

  5. Excellent image Arnold. When we were chasing them down the spur two years ago, this homeowner was actually out mowing his lawn. He certainly takes good care of it!
