Caption: Caboose Hop The view from the Conductors cupola window as Ontario Southland RS23 505 is taking the Guelph Historical Railway Association CPR Wooden Caboose 436994 to downtown Guelph (on the Guelph Junction Railway) for display at Doors Open Guelph. This move is likely to be repeated in 2013 as plans are afoot to have the equipment on display on Saturday April 27 2013.

This clear view was made possible by the GHRA members who replaced the windows with donated crystal clear Lexan windows from the interior of the VRE/Guelph Junction Express coaches. CPR 436994 has since undergone a $10,000 external restoration and will be completed in 2013. Consider joining the group if you are interested in helping out!
