Caption: Basic Bayview: To start off the New Year 2017 offered up here is a basic shot of Bayview Junction as it would appear back in the pre-spring days of 1974. Open and barren. CN 5013 and 2023 are pulling a westbound around the bend, I think back then speed restrictions to 15 MPH, but have forgotten. The 'third' track is still intact; the old location in which engines back in the steam days waited to assist the westbounds up the long 9 mile grade thru Copetown. It is now just a stub, used by MoW, note track stored there. One thing that has not changed over the years is the abundance of litter, the melting snows leave so much to be undesired each spring.
