That would have been neat to capture! I’m assuming trains taking the Guelph Sub would have got on/off at London Jct.?
where did they end up back on CN out east? did they end up on the galt all the way east to Toronto?

Yes, the Guelph Subdivision detours got on/off the CN Dundas Sub at London Jct.
@cp5756- I believe they took the Galt Sub as far as West Toronto and then got on the Weston Subdivision.
If I remember correctly they sent mostly eastbounds across the Galt Sub and the westbounds took the Guelph Sub.
There was definitely a handful of westbounds sent over the Galt. Have seen shots at Galt station. This is a neat series of shots Jason.
