Caption: As well as working the Steel Train out of Hamilton, CN's rebuilt F-units also found themselves on local wayfreight and work trains in the 80's. Here, CN F7Au's 9164 and 9169 sit in the TTR's Don Yard south of Cherry Street awaiting their next duties. CP business car 60 sits on an adjacent track.
What appears to be a CN switcher and transfer caboose sit on another track near the old Don Yard yard tower (single-level at the top, like the ones at Mimico and Canpa, but unlike the one at Bathurst Street). Also in the background is the Lever Brothers soap factory (opened in the early 1950's, closed in the late 2000's) at the foot of the Don River. Today the F's and yard tower are gone, but Don Yard still sees use as a layover facility for GO Transit.
