Caption: As the sound of the bagpipes drifts over downtown Guelph, the last westbound GO train of the evening departs Guelph Central Station, marking 160 years since the Grand Trunk Railway's first train arrived in Guelph in 1856. I opted to shoot this train because it had the most modern piece of equipment on the line, and is a westbound. When the first train arrived in Guelph 160 years ago, it would have had an early style steam locomotive. It seemed like a fitting photo for 160 years of service.
