As the comment goes "Nothing to see here, Folks"............this could apply if you were watching trains back in 1976.....in Toronto.   This is just an image of CN's Turbo being serviced down in that big conglomerate of track, building and an old roundhouse ..........as seen from the Spadina bridge. Off to the right of this photo was a massive passenger coach yard.......all gone now.  Moved out to Mimico.
This shot to me is of something we once took for granted that is now a fading memory.

  1. This is a good angle Arnold, it really shows off the streamlined design of these trains.

  2. Another winner AW..well done. When I worked as a yardman in the coach yard the last job for the 1400 assignment was to line the Turbo into the “Turbo Bay” for service. It had its own track for the maintenance staff to work on, including the car department who had to change the brake shoes every round trip from Montreal.
