Nice light move shot. Why didn’t they take the entire train out of Aldershot instead of heading back from the Hammer only to pass through again to Port Rob?
Not uncommon for both 421 and 422 to pingpong between the two spots. I’m guessing it’s to do with train length.
If there’s a lift in Aldershot and a set off in Hamilton, crews will prefer to get rid of Hamilton traffic to lighten the work load, not block crossings at Hamilton, and less walking.They would pull right into track 1 at the west end of Hamilton.
