Caption: Another one from GEXR's "Rainbow Era" of power: GEXR #432 slowly rolls through Georgetown past the station as it comes off the Guelph Sub and proceeds east on the Halton Sub bound for CN's MacMillan Yard. Not one unit here matches, but that was typical of the mix of 4-motors that showed up: GEXR GP40 4046 (ex-Virginia Southern, originally built for the MKT), RLK GP40 4096 (a former CN 9300-series unit), LLPX 2236 (an ex-Long Island RR GP38-2 once used in commuter service) and GEXR GP40 4019 (originally built as a hi-nose N&W unit). No matching G&W orange in sight for a few more years!

Nice.
4046 was actually ex-Virginia Southern, not one of my favourites!
Cool shot though, the old platform track was still in place!
How things change in 11 years.
Neat shot of GEXR’s road freight during the colourful four-axle era!
Woops, I was thinking of the wrong VSRR!
IIRC, the platform track was removed sometime in 2008 or so.
