Caption: And I can't tease wihout posting something. An a dreary winter day we have a pair of GMD-1 locomotives, really, where they belong, on rickety poorly maintained branchline track. Seen here working the large complex at Blenheim, attempting to set off some cars for ADM who is on the north side. Unfortunately, there were blue flags on the cars, and being a weekend no one was around to remove the flags. But the crew remarked "last time this happened someone walking by worked for ADM and took the blue flags off for us". Talk about small town stuff eh. No such luck this time, so the crew gave up and worked the south side (WG Thompsons) pictured where I am standing. This was my first visit to Blenheim in over 15 years.
