Several colour photos by Jim Parker on Old Time Trains suggest the GM Aerotrain was in London, Hamilton and Toronto in September of 1957.

Excellent I’ve updated this. What a great photo – a very rare scene – thankful that Bryce has allowed us to see some of Doug’s great work online – I hope the younger generations really enjoy this content and can learn a thing or two!
What engine powered this train – would it be a 567?
Power was derived from the EMD 567C 12-cylinder engine which produced 1,200 hp (890 kW).
If those passenger cars look a bit like a bus, thats because they were modified bus bodies made into railcars !
