Caption: An MU consist on the Queen streetcar route pulls into Humber Loop, after coming off the private Queensway streetcar right-of-way and ducking under The Queensway. TTC PCC's 4434 and 4490 (both A7-class cars built by CC&F in 1949) stop for waiting passengers to board. After the busy Bloor and Danforth streetcar lines (that often ran with MU'ed PCC cars) were replaced by the new subway line, the 4400's (and 4600-series secondhand cars) were two groups that retained their couplers for MU operations, and served along the busy Queen Street route.
