Caption: An extended VIA 85 hurtles past me at mile 50 GEXR Guelph Sub. Today's consist was VIA F40PH-3 6446, the usual 2 HEP cars, then F40PH-3 6401, RDC-4 6251, RDC-2 6208, and RDC-1 6105. The RDC's were making a test run on the Guelph Sub for a second time. On June 18, 2016 they were to test from Sarnia to Chatham, ON. The RDC's made this first test run in late February, as seen here: www.railpictures.ca/?attachment_id=23298

Jacob, source on your information?
You’ve stated they are doing a second ‘test run’ on the Guelph sub – technically, they are deadhead moves on the Guelph sub.
And testing Sarnia to Chatham? How did they get to Sarnia? 85 terminates at London.
From informed sources, testing was on Sunday between Chatham and Bloomfield – please make sure your sources are accurate
Budds are rare now.
@Steve-I knew they were testing the RDCS’s to Chatham. I made the mistake of presuming they were testing from Sarnia to Chatham. So the F40 pictured above, mid train, would have towed the RDC’s to Chatham.
Actually Stephen, they only tested as far as Chatham East, not Bloomfield.
