An almost picture perfect reflection of a typical QNS&L ore train about to cross Highway 500, the Trans Labrador Highway, on a crisp early October morning. Having just left Labrador City, lead unit AC4400 # 422 and SD70 # 502 will travel some 260 miles to the Port of Sept-Iles. The trains may be gone forever on the Island portion of our Province, but fortunately such is not the case in Labrador, and in fact, may never be.
