Caption: An all but extinct species on most railroads, the venerable old forty foot boxcar can still occasionally be found in work service. Ontario Northland actually still operates a number of old boxcars in company service, so when visiting this railroad it's not too hard to see at least a few, even if at a distance.
This pair of material storage cars were parked in the small yard at Porquis, the junction point where the lines to Timmins and Iroquois Falls diverge from the line up to Cochrane.
