  1. Great pic. Its sad that VIA and Amtrak could not work out the funding for the portion from Sarnia to Pt. Huron. A whole 1 mile between these two stations. Now you have to take the train to Sarnia and make your own way across the border to catch the train to Chicago. Makes no sense.

  2. I’d love to see the return of the Amtrak Dash 8′s.. I remember them well, but by the time I went to taking photos, they were gone.

  3. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand one did return in 2019…. (to Toronto)

    aaaaaaaaaaaaand those gardens at left are all gone – all fenced off now…. many of the ‘railway gardens’ that dotted guelph have all been eliminated.

    Love this shot – really shows the encroachment!
