Amtrak 157 leads the Rohr Turboliner with Detroit to New York City train 64, the "Niagara Rainbow", via the Caso Sub through Ontario. First stop out of Detroit was Windsor at 0810 on this rather bleak winter morning. Next stop for the Rainbow was St. Thomas, then on to Fort Erie before crossing the border for Buffalo and points east through New York State.

  1. Very common for a time at Niagara Falls, NY. How long did they run over the CASO? Very unique photo….in my eyes, anyway. Thanks for this.

  2. Very cool photo – thanks for sharing. Anyone bag this at St. Thomas or elsewhere on the line?

  3. Thanks guys for having a look. The Turboliners ran over the Caso only a handful of times. Perhaps a train way too modern to run with restricted speeds that the Caso had in place.
