Caption: All but a couple of HBR's new 6000 series locomotives are parked at their locomotive facility in The Pas, MB on this cold March morning. Units I was able to see and/or photograph at the shop and yard were HBRY 824, 3001 (ex-CN 9438), 3002 (ex-CN 9465), 3003 (ex-CN 9478), 3078, 5000, 5004, 5005, 5007, 6001, 6004, 6005, 6008, 6009, 6011, and HLCX 3840. A GREX DumpTrain (GREX 2400) was also spotted. There were two complete GREX trains in Churchill when I was there last August so the second train is likely somewhere in the yard out of sight. What an interesting facility to visit! :-)

Paul, very nice paint scheme, like the blue and grey with white striping. The HBR polar bear logo reminds me of the ONR logo that used to be on ONR F units assigned to the Polar Bear Express. Logo also similar to the former Algoma Central black bear logo. Thanks for posting, John
I agree with John, this is a beautiful and eye catching paint scheme! Nice capture Paul. – Ken
Sorry for not getting back to you. I figured to wait until you posted again. Nice pic of the SD60M. Has to be ex BN.
The HBR locomotive roster shows HBRY 6001 as ex-UP 2384, nee-UP 6225, built October 1990.
Forgot UP had these as well.
