Algoma Central FP9 #1753 leads the southbound Canyon Train on it's return trip to Sault Ste. Marie. Our NARCOA motorcar trip is holding in the siding as we wait here for the Canyon Train to pass. Once clear, we'll continue our journey north to Hawk Junction where we'll park our motorcars and spend the night in Wawa.

  1. Wouldn’t the train in this image be northbound, not southbound?

  2. He’s definitely southbound returning from the Canyon at this point. We’re in the siding heading north with our NARCOA motorcar run. We tied up in Hawk that night, getting in late due to some mechanical issues along the way which made us late. We were supposed to meet the Canyon train @ Montreal River, but were running too late to make it.
