After the recent hot spell Southern Ontario endured I looked back on this image and remembered the bone chilling November night that it was. Our region was hit with a nasty blast of lake effect snow for the afternoon and evening hours on November 15, 2018. I recall my drive home from Woodstock taking 2.5 hours due to accidents and the 403 being closed. While all that was going on, the power for L581 was resting patiently in the yard for the crew to come on duty.

  1. Excellent shot of all the four-axle power together in the first snowfall that year.
