After spending the day dumping rock on the Nipigon Sub, CP 5759 West rolls into Thunder Bay with a friendly wave from the conductor. This spot known as Thunder Bay North in the timetable is more commonly refered to as the "Marina". In tow is one articulated train that is completely unique (as far as I am concerned). Doing some research it is owned by the Georgetown Rail Equipment Co. (GREX) and this train is known as "the Dump Train". The train made up of 15 (white) "hopper" cars -all as one set- with a blue "transfer car" on the tailend. The cars dump their loads onto a conveyor system that runs the length of the train and the "Transfer car" will sling the ballast where it needs to go. Georgetown Rail Equipment Co. is an outfit out of Texas that claims this equipment can unload 2,000 tons per hour!
