Caption: After restoration in 1973 for Tour Tram service downtown, the TTC's small group of Peter Witt streetcars (2424, 2766, and 2894) also became popular for fantrip charters. Here, TTC "small witt" 2766 is posed southbound on Parliament at Dundas. Unlike today, paving stones could still be found around streetcar intersections.
Present day, this strip along Parliament remains largely unchanged, and even Bob's Variety still exists at the same location (now as Bob's Convenience).
