Caption: After not being able to shoot the ballast train down the Hamilton Sub with the two CMQ units (9020-9011) on April 13 (it was well-documented at least), I thought I would have my chance when the train returned to the area after re-filling in Sudbury. This was the day for that return trip; however, since CP has a tendency to be unpredictable with their operations, the train was combined with 246 at Lambton and there was no ballast dumping. Of course, to add insult to injury, two plain-jane GEs were the leading power. Nonetheless, I documented it, and heck, barely anyone was out for it! The following day would find the ballast train with the sole CMQ power dumping northbound under gloomy skies.

Nice. I caught it at Boyle, down toward Welland.
