After meeting a westbound freight and making its station stop, CN train 676 with 6526 for power and steam generator car 15450 wearing the markers accelerates away from Laforest. The clear signal at the east end of Laforest is clearly evident. Lots of 1970ish railroad detail is evident in the photo including a work train in the back track.

A view of train 676 approaching can be viewed here: www.railpictures.ca/?attachment_id=45136

  1. Clear signal! What a great shot. There’s so much detail to view in that photo. :-)

  2. Wonder which building is the ‘station’!? I agree with Paul….great shot!

  3. By the time I took this photo, the station was long gone. It was located about where the steam generator car is, just beyond the last visible building.

    Thanks for the comments.
