After being cancelled for two or three months, 531 recently returned to service, and is pictured here at CN Yager on its way to Fort Erie and Buffalo. The head end three cars are for the NS for interchange in Fort Erie, the containers are for CSX in Buffalo (with 539 handling other CSX-bound traffic), and behind the stacks was traffic for the BPRR in Buffalo. In 531's absence, 562 was handling the interchange duties, and extras were common as well. Power for this day was 2340 and 2444.
