Caption: After being assigned to Brantford for over a month, BNSF 2090 and CN 4910 were finally turned on CN 581 in Hamilton last night. This morning was the first opportunity to get a nice morning photo of BNSF 2090 in front of the station. Exactly one year ago to the day, there was a mob of railfans in Brantford to photograph green-BN painted BNSF 2098 leading CN 580. This morning was a lot more subdued, only myself and one other railfan present to capture the action. Not a bad way to start the work day, again!

They make a nice pair.
Nice catch Rob!
Nice lighting! This unit spent over 3 months in the Kitchener pool. Now we have the other H1 unit 2317.
Everyone’s had their action all over Ontario with these BNSF’s. The mob was real a year ago – and the mobs continue to visit some lines when certain stars align and the frenzy takes root…… it still happens. Plenty of evidence of it.
I enjoy being with a group of friends just as much as I can be nearly by myself sometimes like my photo from St. Marys a month or so ago. All by my lonesome, Nobody cared that day.
Hahaha mobs. CN 568 on May 24 was a prime example of that Now no one seems to care about H1 BNSF geeps. Never see anyone out here.
Yep – some things are worth it though, some things you go ‘why’ – after the magnifying lens of social media makes things much more frenzied…. for certain things only
Remember back 20 years ago when you had so much to choose from it rarely became a mob? Only for certain things.. like the CNW leader on 328..
