After barely missing this train In Guelph headed for Acton, I decided I'd head out Rockwood way and catch it on the way back. I chose this location to get above the weeds along the road so CN 7038 with GMTX 2279 and CN 4725 head under the Jones Baseline overpass with a short train on a nice bright fall afternoon.

  1. Nice shot Bill. How in the world did they run around all those cars in Acton though?! Can’t imagine they brought all of those hoppers into Canwel, but I guess its possible!

  2. Thanks Mark. I didn’t see it in Guelph but another railfan said it was a long train so somehow it must have.

  3. Interesting, looks like those cars are for or from Shantz Station

  4. Great shot Bill. L568 took the same power west once L540 arrived back in Kitchener that afternoon.

  5. @Liam Is the Shantz Station Terminal new? If so, as of CN?

  6. Built 2003. Not new.

  7. Great shot bud
