After a morning of CN Clover Bar, I made a stop in at the East Edmonton diamond to see if CP was making a move. As luck would have it, an oil train of empties for Kinder Morgan was approaching with the IOL crew also doing some work. The oil cans were headed up with 4 units, the 8111, 8778, 8784 and 8029. The 8776 was on the tailend. The 4507 and 4419 sat parked for the moment as the IOL crew, on the far left, stood and inspected. The 8111 is just a few car lengths from the diamond, the pink rail joints being on CN's Camrose Sub. The curving track in the immediate foreground is CP's lead into Kinder Morgan.

  1. An oops on the Kinder Morgan. That name is no longer on the signage around the property. It now has Pembina. That explains why the big sign out the front is blacked out, a change coming to it shortly also I bet.
