After a lengthy wait for CP 247 to come up the Hamilton Sub, the Herzog ballast train makes its way across Appleby Line with CMQ 9020 and CMQ 9011 leading the way. They would head down the Hamilton sub and lay ballast as they proceeded southward and make the return trip north later that evening.
