Caption: A three car train of Budd RDCs lead by VIA RDC-2 6217 (ex-CP 9115, still in service today with VIA) comes off the Oakville Sub at Bathurst Street, heading inbound into downtown Toronto nearing their destination of Union Station. A GO train with GP40TC 502 appears to be waiting to depart TTR territory and head westbound on CN's Oakville Sub (possibly a morning train deadheading back to Willowbrook). CN's Weston Sub can be seen heading off into the distance, with CP's Parkdale Yard (then on borrowed time as a freight yard) beyond Strachan Avenue grade crossing. The building with the blue roof is part of the sprawling Inglis appliances complex in nearby Liberty Village (note billboard sign on roof). On the right, tank cars are spotted by the old Toronto Municipal Abattoir that operated off of Niagara Street.

A great photo.
And almost none of this exists today.
