Gananoque is in Ontario, not Quebec!
I’m a fan of not only railroading, but of stations – and although this station is unique (and no longer in existence like the TIR), I never really was aware of it or the railway. It didn’t interest me at first like the mainline action you would see at Gananoque Junction.
However, now knowing more history about the Thousand Islands Rwy., it’s a great shot of the line and station in use. If only I had taken photos of this station before it was demolished sometime around 1994…
