A Skyline and a Park car are at CAD and have been here for a number of weeks. Possibly they are here to undergo a static structural test (compression test), as VIA Rail was mandated to do by a Transport Canada order released on October 19th.

    Interesting picture Michael. These two cars will have “frozen up” with no HEP, at least to me they don’t look plugged in to any power source. Hope they drained the cars of water so that pipes, toilettes don’t freeze. Did you get the name of the Park car ? Happy New Year, and thanks for posting, John
