A rather early CN A435 heads West past mile 20 of the CN Halton Sub during the only sunny break of the day. Due to the early arrival of CN A422 at 12:57pm through mile 20, I suspect the 435 was able to leave Mac yard because of an unoccupied Aldershot yard. IC 2719 is a nice and clean surprise compared to most CN dash 9s.

  1. Nice shot. The times of departure of 435 or an early 422 have nothing in common. Its all about scheduling..lol and luck.

  2. Thanks for the info! It just seemed like more than a coincidence to me.

  3. Ahh no worries. I work both those trains and ideally its better if 435 and 422 meet between Georgetown and Halwest as both of these trains are usually about 11,000ft and they have no place to pass once one gets by Stewarttown
