A quintet of Central Maine & Quebec SD40-2Fs ease US-bound train no. 2 along the snow-covered back streets at Lennoxville, Quebec on a glorious winter's morning.

At the time (for reasons to me now unknown), I was very disappointed with the results of this chase. I had accidentally set the image stabilizer on my lens to "Mode 2", which I was convinced had ruined my photographs. However, less than a year removed from that fateful February morning, and with the news of CP's impending takeover, I can easily look past whatever bad maple syrup I was drinking. Time heals all.

  1. Very nice shot! My my that’s a lot of snow. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that much snow in the KW/Hamilton area.

  2. Oh yes! Very nice. Good to see the lad has his mind off the girls for a bit. :o )
