Great catch Glenn. Wish the GEXR still had loco consists like this.
How long into GEXR on the Guelph sub was this shot? Seems rather early
According to Wikipedia GEXR took over operation of the Guelph Sub on Nov 15/98 – so yes this was in the early days.
That must have been a bit of a hike into that location!
I haven’t been back since I took this shot but I don’t remember much of a hike. There’s a street close by so I’m thinking it was just a short walk from there.
I must have missed something, Glenn. I wandered in there for a shot somewhat closer to the bridge on that side and I had a heck of a job cleaning vines, weeds, burrs and all the rest of it. Guess I did not see the clearing farther along……..:o(
I too never found this but, but I found another one that Arnold may have found.
I think you have to walk all the way down the dicey embankment to get your angle Glenn.

It was inspired by you two! The only downside is they’ve put up railings on the bridge.
The other thing one can do is go back in the winter when the river’s frozen solid and just walk across
