A little nostalgia here as CP 4085 leads a westbound freight at Glen Eden ski resort in the Kelso Conservation Park near Milton, ON in 1967. This train is climbing toward Campbellville and then on to Guelph Jct. where it will hoop train orders before proceeding westward to Galt.

  1. Nice pic Dave ..I saw this today on another to be un-named web site and wished I could see it full size. Nice. greg.

  2. Those 244′s must have sounded great on that pull. Pair of Script units, even better… love this shot!

  3. Very nice. Thanks Dave.

  4. Mike, would love to hear those 244′s today, but that was almost 49 years ago. How time flies.

Greg, you got to see the picture full sized anyway without an annual subscription. That un-named site is my Trains magazine, Railroad magazine and a little Model Railroader” all in one place.

    Cheers….Dave.

  5. One of my favourite MLW shots. Excellent!

  6. Dave is that your big blue ‘ boat ‘ in the foreground ??
