Bannerman Lake; the whole thing was just a fluke. I saw the tail end leaving town and had no idea how far I might have to go to see what was on the head end.
I wondered what the name of that lake was. This is the same location I have spent some time at. You pull over where there is a drive to a hydro substation or something like that, a little grassy laneway takes you down to the waters’ edge. And there is enough room to turn around. Put out the lawn chair, turn on the scanner, and have a beer. (well, everyone else up there does!!!) Great place for train watching when it is not bug season.
