Caption: A half-decent way to spend an hour or so on a weekday morning, following the Tillsonburg Job south from Salford to Tillsonburg. The pups were running nose out for a couple weeks back around early June, but that didn't last all too long. I have to admit, I am not overly fond of the new spark arrestors, but I suppose that practicality and safety should always win out over an opinion on aesthetics.

Wow on those. Weird things, but safety wins out.
Nice shot, I like these when they’re set up this way.
More like Chimney stacks than park arrestors. I noticed, back in the day, CP used to run 1200′s back to back, while CN ran there’s nose to nose. Why did OSR do the ‘switch’ around?
Yeah, I prefer them set up this way too. So much so that I abandoned my plans two days ago upon learning they were nose-to-nose haha. Kinda glad I wasn’t around for Tuesday’s run anyways, given the tractor run-in.
Brad, better visibility.
