A father with his sons spending time fishing the Grand River while a train passes over downtown Galt on a cool summer evening.
Gotta love these summer evenings. My summer routine allows me a few nights to try my hand at a photo from the north side of River Bluffs Park in Galt - Bill Miller turned me on to this spot a few years ago and normally a couple trains was easy, four was a good night. Now if you get one, you are doing well - things really have changed on the 'ol CP. This was my fourth attempt this season, and my first getting a train before the sun sets for good. With this in hand any evening photography I do in August 2017 will have to be elsewhere - this sure is a keeper.
