A death star leader through Turcot West. A later than usual CN 310 has an IC SD70 leading (IC 1015) as well as another as DPU (class leader IC 1000) as it passes through Turcot West with 694 axles. It will drop off the trailing unit (CN 2031) and some cars at Southwark yard before continuing onto Joffre yard near Quebec City.

  1. Why are the IC black SD70s dubbed “death star”?

  2. Kevin, they’re dubbed that because of their nose logo because it resembles the Imperial Battle station that is destroyed by Luke Skywalker in Star Wars.
