Vantage point is the wrong side of the tracks from a public access point of view, times have changed. The chimney of the former Burlington Brick works, beyond Lemonville Road bridge, is further away than it looks.

Chi-Can load in the SP pig van?
I used to see SP piggyback trailers at Chican’s dock at Midcon during the mid 1980′s.
Intermodal containers seem to have replaced many piggyback trailers and roadrailer trains. The nearest well car (platform) seems to be carrying another truck-trailer.
Wonder how many shippers liked the name “Golden Pig Service” and smiling pig mascot ?
The smokestack is interesting. Brick works? The deep red colour of the mud rising through the tracks at this location today indicates how rich the soil is…. colour wise even to this day. Or it’s a remnant of the brick works
